The Mountain Education Foundation (MEF) extends its heartfelt thanks to the individuals and businesses who sponsored the Run For Education and the Signal Mountain Scramble Golf Tournament. Their generous support of these two events helped MEF raise $46,000 to support Nolan Elementary, Thrasher Elementary, and Signal Mountain Middle/High School during the 2008/2009 academic year. Thanks to their support, the foundation set a new fundraising record, increasing the allocations to our schools by more than 25% last year.
